Festive Bakes and Bagels for Christmas Collections
Christmas is coming and with that, the return of our pre-order Festive Selection. An array of tempting treats alongside our signature bagels means you’ll be stocked up for the holidays.

- Select an available date and time at the checkout
- Come and see us on the day where we’ll have everything ready for collection
Please note – we’ll be open for pre-order collections only on the 23rd December and 24th December. So you can get what you want, we definitely recommend using the pre-order link below.
Key Dates for Christmas 2025
Tuesday 9TH December – Festive Filled Bagels Begin
The run up to Christmas means you can get your fill of our seasonal filled bagel specials. Our Christmas bagels will be available as either vegetarian and meat options and can be orderred from Tuesday 9th December – Sunday 21st December ONLY.
THURSDAY 11TH December – Pre-order Webshop Opens
It’s the return of our online festive pre-orders, where you can select your Christmas treats for collection on either the 23rd or 24th December. We’re a bakery with a small kitchen, which means stock is limited – so make sure you secure your slot early.
THURSDAY 11th Dec – FAMILY FUN at the bakery/LATE NIGHT SHOPPING
We’ll be hosting a special evening for budding bakers at the shop, giving you a chance to decorate your own Slow Rise Bakery gingerbread cookies. Hot chocolate will be provided and you can pre book your place through our online shop.
For adults, we’ll be open from 4pm – 8pm for browsing our gift selection and plenty of free-flowing festive cheer.

Christmas CHARITY Collections at the Bakery
This year, we’ll be running a donation point for the RSPCA Halifax and Huddersfield and PAFRAS, two causes close to our hearts.
RSPCA Halifax and Huddersfield are a self-funding branch of the RSPCA responsible for raising money locally to support their animal welfare work. Their main aim is to rehabilitate unwanted, abandoned and abused animals and find them loving, permanent homes.
PAFRAS aims to end destitution, increase access to social justice and advocate for the rights of refugees and people seeking asylum in Leeds. Their aim is to resist the hostile environment and strive for systemic change. They also ensure that the voices of the people they support are heard and are at the heart of all we do.
Christmas and New Year Opening Times
Following on from our festive bakeoff, we’re taking a big Christmas break for a well-deserved rest. Our opening times for Christmas through to New Year are:
Tuesday 16th – Sunday 21st – OPEN AS USUAL
Monday 22nd December – CLOSED (as usual)
Tuesday 23rd December – Preorder Collections 10am – 3pm, limited availability for takeaway only – no filled bagels.
Wednesday 24th December – Preorder Collections 10am – 3pm, limited availability for takeaway only – no filled bagels
Thursday 25th December – Tuesday 6th January – CLOSED
Wednesday 7th January – Open as usual, 9am – 3pm
Sunday 11th January – CLOSED
Place Your Christmas Order
Orders can be placed via our Web Shop from THURSDAY 11th DEC.
Collection times and stock are limited so we advise you book early to avoid disappointment.
Ordering is simple:
1) Select your treats for pre-order and pay in advance.
2) Select your collection time on your preferred collection date. Current collection days and times are:
- Tuesday 23rd December 10:00 – 15:00
- Wednesday 24th December 10:00 – 14:00
3) Collect on your selected time/day (alongside any other extra bits from the counter, our shelves or our coffee machine) and enjoy.
Allergen Information – You can view specific allergens for our Christmas Products here. Please note that all our products are made in a small kitchen, where we handle peanuts and various tree nuts, cereals containing gluten, milk, mustard, sesame, soy and sulphites. We cannot therefore guarantee all products to be free of allergens. If you need further advice, get in contact with us and we’ll be happy to advise you further.
